Time to Select Your Health Plan

Health care for you and your family is important, and your needs change over time. Selecting your health care plan is a personal decision. Your health care needs should determine the kind of health plan you select.

University of Iowa employees enrolled in UIChoice pay only a $10 office visit co-pay when choosing a UI provider for their care. The office visit co-pay is higher when choosing a non-UI provider. Additionally, the co-pay is waived for UI employees with UI Choice or CHIP II when visiting a UI QuickCare clinic. For a full review of benefits, visit UI Benefits.

University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is consistently recognized as a national leader in health care, with many “firsts and onlys” distinctions. All UI health plans – and most area health plans – include UI Hospitals and Clinics and UI Physicians as preferred, or participating, providers. As you review your options, consider the nationally recognized health care that is right in your own backyard – with services for you and your family.
